Palace Pledges $1 Million USD in Donations to Black Lives Matter Causes
Starting with Black Lives Matter and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
Palace has pledged its support the Black Lives Matter movement with plans for a $1 million USD worth of donations. The London-based brand is set to donate the full amount between now and the end of the year, starting with donations to Black Lives Matter and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
Announcing the plans on Instagram, the label added, “We stand firmly with all protesters seeking justice against police brutality and racism. This ain’t some band wagon sh*t btw. It just took a hot minute to figure out if I could drum up a mill by the end of the year and work out what we’re going to do long-term.”
Palace is the latest brand to make a donation to the movement. Elsewhere, other labels have released T-shirts to raise money for Black Lives Matter and related charities.
