Hermès Creates 2-in-1 "Savana Dance" Roller Skate Sneakers

Hermès has just released an inventive and luxurious take on roller skates. Part of its Savana line of sporting goods, the Savana Dance Roller Skates feature a clever 2-in-1 system where the wheel portion of the skates can be taken off in a matter of seconds thanks to a quick-lock system.
The sneaker portion features white calfskin with leather lining that’s fitted to a maplewood platform. The base is joined to a full roller-disco set up with Krypto Impulse wheels and metal hardware. This versatile pair of footwear can be worn on their own as sneakers when you’re walking in town, but can also help you zip through the park on a nice summer day.
Made in Italy, the Savana Dance Roller Skates can be found over at Hermès’ online store for a hefty fee of $34,400 HKD (approximately $4,450 USD).
