New Balance 850 Receives '90s-Indebted Colorways
Two playful spring offerings.
After releasing three bold colorways for its 1996-originating 850 silhouette, New Balance is continuing to amplify its rich ‘90s-indebted heritage with two new takes on the retro model: “White/Team Teal” and “Incense/Team Teal.”
At the base of the “White/Team Teal” colorway is a bold black leather panel featuring white mesh cutouts. This is met by a white leather cage, whereby playful hints of purple contrast alongside hits of teal, blue, and red. Rounding out the shoe is a white ABZORB midsole that sits atop a black rubber sole. On the “Incense/Team Teal” iteration, various brown leathers can be seen employed on the cage, with the underlying mesh panels on the upper foot utilizing teal. Contrasted hints of navy blue and red can be found throughout the upper, with the shoe finished by a white ABZORB midsole and a gum-colored rubber sole.
