Back with the third episode of Pushing For Gold, The Berrics caught up with U.S.A.’s Olympic skate hopefuls following the postponement of the games originally set for Tokyo this year.
Titled “Pushing Through,” the installment in the series is a look at how the young athletes are coping with the effects brought on by Coronavirus (COVID-19) and how they are still in preparation in quarantine. Skaters like Nyjah Huston, Mariah Duran, Alana Smith, Jake Ilardi, Alex Sorgente and more note the importance of adhering to safety measures and reveal their optimism during the uncertain time. Additionally, U.S.A. Skateboarding‘s CEO, Josh Friedberg, offers an update about training and qualifications for next year’s games still set for Tokyo.
