Copaze Releases a Nike Mars Yard Rug & Air Freshener
Celebrating Tom Sachs’ collaborative sneaker.
Following a Honda S2000-inspired release, Copaze has now returned to its sneaker roots to celebrate the Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard.
Spurring an Overshoe iteration and standout line, the 1.0 and 2.0 collaborative sneakers from the contemporary American artist have stood as some of the most sought after footwear styles in recent years. Copaze looked to help fans show their appreciation of the shoes with both a rug and air freshener.
Measuring 70 cm by 50 cm, the knitted rug expresses a playful illustration that highlights the shoes warp-knit tricot mesh base upper accented by brown suede overlays and bright red hits. While drip details appear on the Nike Special Forces Boot sole unit and midfoot Swoosh branding found in the illustration. The rug features a non-woven fabric bottom paired with non-slip rubber points. While the absorbent cotton paper air freshener that expresses the same illustration features a cape jasmine scent and a simple loop tie to secure the tag to the rearview mirror of a car.
