Second 'Evangelion 3.0+1.0' Trailer Previews an Array of Scenes

Despite being postponed indefinitely, Studio Khara has now released a second trailer for Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

Originally set to release June 27, the new theatrical installment serves as the first animation from the franchise in eight years and marks the conclusion of the four-part Rebuild of Evangelion series.

Scored by the iconic track “Jikai Yokoku,” the 34-second visual runs through an array of scenes marked by quick notation flashes. Aside from showing off the bio-mechas found in the film, we also get a look at beloved characters Shinji, Asuka and Rei. Near the end of the trailer, Evangelion Unit-13 is seen crucified in a facility after the happenings of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo.
