Musician and game enthusiast Davidlab has just took it upon himself to recreate the opening music to every Sony PlayStation console — using only guitar. The video layers different effects and techniques over an electric guitar to create some of the most nostalgic sounds gamers will be familiar with.

As the video progresses, Davidlab gets even more creative as he unitizes a cello bow, air compressor and both an electric and acoustic guitar to work his way up from the Sony PlayStaion all the way up to the newly-announced PlayStation 5. As a bonus, he even recreates the start-up music from both Nintendo and SEGA, and controller SFX. Just under two minutes, watch/listen to the video above.

In other gaming news, Square Enix offers Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts titles for June sale.
