Veilance Displays Its Complete Cold Weather System in FW20 Lookbook

Arc’teryx‘s premium and minimal division, Veilance, has just released its visuals for the Fall/Winter 2020 season. Photoed by surrealist photographer Ben Zank in the open wilderness of British Columbia, the modeled looks blend into the natural surroundings with the help of Zank’s signature mind-bending imagery.
Contrasted against the pristine snow and ice of the Northern glaciers along with vivid emeralds from BC’s coveted woodlands, Veilance tells a story of its complete cold weather system. “The FW20 Collection is an expansive system that advances how we’re able to live – and what we’re able to do – all the way down to sub-zero conditions,” explains Veilance’s Creative Director, Taka Kasuga. “Our modular layering approach combines highly technical materials with varying levels of insulation, building a truly adaptive range.”
Pieces like the Range IS Jacket, a jacket that features updated de-lamination proof GORE-TEX Pro and Coreloft-S insulation, stands out from the foliage while Veilance’s signature use of neutral tones merges in the grays and browns of deadwood and the array of snags. This collection also sees the new Mionn IS Capsule, a new family of breathable outerwear. The Mionn IS Capsile possesses quick drying properties and is resistant to wind and water. Completing the collection is the ultra-light Monitor IS SL Coat. This Veilance best-seller has GORE-TEX construction with SHAKEDRY material matched with Coreloft-S insulation.
