TM88, Southside, Future, Young Thug and Moneybagg Yo Link for "Blue Jean Bandit"
A blistering trap music opus.
TM88 and Southside have teamed up to release “Blue Jean Bandit,” a brawling trap track that audiences have been craving for ever since it was first teased in 2019. The single, which features some exceedingly well-placed cameos from Moneybagg Yo, Future, and Young Thug, creeps in all the right places, allowing for the three Southerners to deliver some hard-packed bars.
Thugger — who appeared on the early version of the track last year — sounds as if he’s taken on the identity of a trap banshee, delivering some demented screams and adlibs alongside his lyrics. “Half a million, told my jeweler my ice is real, what up?/Anything I say I can say twice, what up?” Thugger spits on the first verse. “I talk nasty to the cops, I know my rights, what up?/The b*tch mad that she got lonely nights […] I laid on and caught that b*tch like Jerry Rice, what up?” Moneybagg and Future equally bring the heat, delivering their characteristic flows over the blistering backdrop.
The track arrives just a week after Future, Southside, and Thugger appeared on Drake’s “D4L Freestyle,” which released on the Toronto artist’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes. Moneybagg Yo will deliver the deluxe edition of Time Served next week.
