The Weeknd might have had to reschedule his After Hours tour, but in no way is the Toronto R&B heartthrob holding back on giving fans new material to chew on. After delivering a comedic song for American Dad titled “I’m a Virgin,” The Weeknd has now teamed up with Doja Cat for a remix of “In Your Eyes.”

Just day prior on May 19, Doja began the hype around a collaborative effort by creating a satirical Twitter poll by listing the Toronto crooner as a potential collaborator alongside names like “Gumby,” “Pissy tits,” and “Stuart Little.” Just hours later, she tweeted “in your eyes,” changing her Twitter name to the same.

Earlier this year, Weeknd spoke to Variety about the track. “When you look deeper into the song, it’s more complex than it seems. It’s basically about two people who are in love with each other who are just fucking each other over,” he shared. “The first verse is from [one] perspective and the second is from the other perspective. It’s like the way people think the Police’s ‘Every Breath You Take’ is a love song, and it’s not at all … This is deeper, but you wanna dance to it and make love to it. That’s the trick of it.”

For more new music, deadmau5 and The Neptunes have released a new track titled “Pomegranate.”
