Roy Woods Shares Somber "2 Me" Visual
Taken from his recent EP, ‘Dem Times.’
Roy Woods dropped off an accompanying music video for “2 Me,” a track taken from his recent EP Dem Times. The visual, directed by Dragan “The.97” Andic, provides a more intimate side of the OVO Sound signee, with many of the shots offering portraits of the artist. Switching between tints of dark green and blue, Woods croons about heartbreak over a sorrowful beat, really emphasizing on the loneliness he feels.
Dem Times was created in Los Angeles and Toronto, and marks Woods’ first project since 2017’s “Say Less.” “We’re in a place and space that a lot of us have never experienced before. That’s what made me want to release my EP, Dem Times, and it’s also why I chose the name,” he explained in a statement. “If you’re from Toronto, then you know exactly what I am referring to. Life is short and can change in a blink of an eye. Appreciate life and all dem times at all times.”
