Pop culture investment platform and community Mythic Markets recently launched its latest IPO, offering fans a piece of a sealed Magic: The Gathering 1994 Booster Box Set. The opportunity is just the latest in Mythic Markets’ push to democratizing access to rare collectibles cards, vintage comics, fantasy art and eSports teams.

Serving as an important part in the history of Wizards of the Coast‘s collectible and digital collectible card game created by Richard Garfield, the Magic: The Gathering booster set comes factory sealed and in near-mint condition. The five-pack was originally released back in 1994 and includes the storied Antiquities, Revised core, Legends, The Dark and Fallen Empires expansion sets. The booster box set is the second Magic: The Gathering LLC series from Mythic Markets, with the first one being a BGS 9 (Mint) Alpha Black Lotus, one of 1,100 ever printed.

With an offering amount of $55,000 USD, each of the 2000 shares available is worth $27.50 USD with 524 units currently sold to 57 investors. With every purchase, Mythic Markets will authorize a personalized stock certificate and any purchase of five or more shares comes with an exclusive collectible pin. The investors that have put interest in the Mythic Markets LLC series own part of the asset and earning potential from a sale in the future, with a secondary trading market to be developed later. Investors also have an invitation to see the 1994 Booster Box Set sourced from a private collector in the United States in person at select events.

Head over to Mythic Markets to learn more about the investment platform and purchase Magic: The Gathering 1994 Booster Box Set.
