UPDATE: The full segment of Jay Leno driving the Tesla Cybertruck on Jay Leno’s Garage has gone live, showing the futuristic electric SUV driving around LA and through The Boring Company’s Test Tunnel.

In the video we see Elon Musk stand on the Cybertruck’s cargo bed cover to show how strong it is, and we also hear from Tesla’s senior designer Franz Von Holzhausen, who discusses the Cybertruck’s design. Throughout the video, information about the upcoming truck is displayed, from its 0-60 MPH time that is expected to be under 2.9 seconds, to news about its range, which is expected to be over 500 miles.

Original Story (May 25, 2020): CNBC has just released a three-minute teaser showing its upcoming episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, this time featuring the Tesla Cybertruck. Joined by Elon Musk, the video teases some of the dialogue spoken between the two in Jay Leno Garage’s signature in-car filming style. Musk discusses things like his decision to make the SUV bulletproof, and the changes the Cybertruck will go through for the production model.

The trailer for the full episode leaves us on a cliffhanger as the two drive to The Boring Company’s Test Tunnel where they attempt to fit the large vehicle in the public transportation system prototype. Catch the full episode on May 27 at 10:00 p.m. EDT.
