Medhane Shares "TRAUMA & GRACE" Visual
Off his 2019 record, ‘Own Pace.’
Medhane is revisiting his 2019 project Own Pace with an accompanying music video for its opening track, “TRAUMA & GRACE.” Directed by Gabriel Rodriguez-Fuller, the visual sees a blend of colored and black and white footage, along with profiles of the artist himself and repeating icons.
Recently speaking with HYPEBEAST Music, Medhane revealed that a majority of Own Pace was created between the time he returned from a graduation trip to Kenya with his family. “When I got out of school, I hadn’t put out music for six to seven months except for that “Sky” single with Kahlil [Blu],” he said. “When I got back, all my friends were working on tapes… I remember Caleb [Giles] had just finished ‘Under The Shade’and I was just like, ‘damn, I gotta make some sh*t that I can stand behind 100 percent that really represents my mind state at the time.”
