adidas' ZX Torsion Receives Vibrant Warm-Weather Updates
Lush suede-tinged pastels.
adidas has returned with a lush warm-weather rendition of its ZX Torsion silhouette. Embracing suede-tinged colorways of “Legacy Purple” and “Glow Orange,” this release follows a bright “Aqua” iteration unveiled back at the end of December last year.
Coming in a mix of materials, like suede, mesh and rubber, the silhouette is made up of functional parts that emphasize textural contrast. Starting at the top of the silhouette is a woven “adidas” patch logo, set atop a vertically quilted tongue that extends over to the toebox. Breathable mesh fabrics are placed at the heel and sidewalls, followed by suede panels at the rear quarter and toecap. As a final note, sleek ripstop Three Stripes branding is placed at the sides, while an essential Torsion midsole gives the sneakers optimal balance and support.
The adidas ZX Torsion “Legacy Purple” is currently available on Oneness’ website for $140 USD, while the “Glow Orange” colorway is on adidas’ online store for $126 USD.
