A new horror anthology centered around urban legends in America.
After announcing a revival of Punk’d with Chance the Rapper and a murder mystery show starring Queen Latifah, Quibi adds another show to its ever-growing catalog. The streaming platform has released a frightening teaser trailer for its horror anthology, 50 States of Fright. Helmed by Spider-Man director Sam Raimi as the executive producer, the upcoming series explores local urban legends from different cities in America.
The first season will feature stories from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington. Clocking in at 10-minutes or less, the episodes will include all-star talent like Rachel Brosnahan, Christina Ricci, Jacob Batalon, Ming-Na Wen, Ron Livingston, plus many others. Behind the camera, Raimi also co-wrote and directed an episode with brother Ivan Raimi, with other segments led by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground), Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place).
