First released in 2018 as a player exclusive, Jordan Brand is finally making the Jordan 3 Retro “UNC” available to the general public this week. The athlete’s version of this Jordan, which was seeded to players on North Carolina University’s football and basketball teams and limited to 250 pairs, sells at an average of $3,719 USD on StockX. The 2020 version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro “UNC” is currently selling at a more digestible average of $269 USD, which is 31.1% over MSRP.

The silhouette has many of the same features as its predecessor, including the white tumbled leather accented by elephant print on the toebox and heel and “Valor Blue” hits that pay homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater. This Jordan 3, however, also features embellishments that differ from those on the PE: the tongue is embroidered with a Jumpman instead of the NC logo and the team’s signature argyle pattern is replaced with red on the insole.  The rest of the shoe keeps it classic with the same baby blue color on the eyelets, lining and midsole and a contrasting grey outsole.

Head over to StockX now to secure your pair of Air Jordan 3 Retro “UNC” so you can rep like a Tar Heel.
