Sillage & STOCK NO. Embellish Leather Moccasins With Glass Beads
Hand-painted in Bangkok.

After unveiling its vibrant Spring 2020 lookbook last month, Tokyo-based label Sillage has returned with its latest drop. Brainchild of Nicolas Yuthanan Chalmeau, the brand has been known for its voluminous cut-and-sew styles, flipping traditional silhouettes on their heads. This time around, however, the label has crafted footwear in a collaboration with STOCK NO., a local Fukuoka brand that specializes in leather moccasins — featured is a crisp white pair of moccasins, embellished with a set of glass beads.
Boasting smooth full-grained leather, the footwear comes with a semi-boxy fit with tonal details. Starting at the top of the silhouette are three pairs of eyelets, complemented by thin round laces and a thick tongue. At the rear quarter and the heel are a trio of handpainted glass beads from Bangkok, tied with leather tassels and round silver-toned locks. All of these details sit atop a dark hazel brown crepe midsole for a rustic finish, matching the shoe’s creamy beige leather interiors.
The Sillage x STOCK NO. Leather Moccasins are currently available on Sillage’s website for $350 USD.
