Period Correct Celebrates the East African Safari Rallies With New "Safari Collection"
Paying homage to the rugged terrain & the historic vehicles.
Period Correct is looking at the intertwined world of safari and motorsports for its new “Safari Collection.” Inspired by the East African Safari Rallies, the capsule pays homage to the rugged terrain and the strength of the historic vehicles involved — the Porches, Peuegots, Datsuns and Lancias.
Comprised of jackets, hoodies, T-shirts and hats, some of the collection’s highlights include a brown, green and black camo-esque jacket, a black T-shirt with a monochromatic image of Sandro Munari and Piero Sodano’s Lancia Stratos from 1977, a brown and grey cap with an embroidered logo of the East African Safari Rally and a green P.C. Rally-stitched bomber jacket.
Period Correct’s “Safari Collection” drops March 21 on the Period Correct online store and at Period Correct Atelier in Costa Mesa, California.
