Nike AF1 React D/MS/X Receives Crisp "White/LT Smoke Gray" Colorway
Modern cushioning for the court classic.
Last month, Nike introduced a modernized take on its classic Air Force 1 silhouette, equipping it with new React cushioning technology. One of the latest colorways to release from this year’s slate is a clean “White/LT Smoke Gray” iteration, detailed with subtle notes of “Royal Blue” and “University Gold.”
Starting at the top of the silhouette is a bright yellow woven tongue tab, placed over breathable mesh fabrics. To complement the flat white laces, the shoe has been given smooth gray leather eyelet panels, matching the shade of the lower double-stacked backstay. Most of the body comes in white leather besides its mesh midsection panel. Emblazoned over the sidewalls is a thick outline of Nike’s Swoosh logo that starts just before the throat line and ends at the heel counter. Other accents like the yellow “Nike” embroidery at the heel and “D/MS/X” branding at the medial rear quarter round up the details of the uppers. All of these features rest above a chunky midsole, accompanied by a blue React outsole for maximum comfort and support.
