Medicom Toy Taps Emotionally Unavailable for Transparent 1000% BE@RBRICK
With an interior light switch feature.

Three days ago, Medicom Toy unveiled its “Black Heart” BE@RBRICK, a Hide of X Japan-inspired rendition of the collectible silhouette. The Japanese toymaker has returned with yet another unique spin on a BE@RBRICK, this time in collaboration with Emotionally Unavailable for a transparent model that houses an interior light switch feature.
The BE@RBRICK comes in the size of 1000% and features a dripping red heart at the center of the piece, Emotionally Unavailable‘s signature motif. It was made for Nanzuka’s 2G Studio in Shibuya, and it’s now being made available for raffle.
Most of the figure boasts an understated transparent design, showcasing the interior anatomy of the silhouette. Left expressionless, the only detail found on the BE@RBRICK’s face is a subtly etched out nose — apart from this, nothing else on the surface of the model has been added. The inside, however, displays a bevy of details, like the rotating gears at the arms and legs, the plastic bolts that trace the edges of the figure and, finally, the red heart at the center of the belly that lights up. It’s a unique design that one can make a part of his or her living space.
The Emotionally Unavailable x Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK 1000% will be available for raffle March 14, 11 a.m. EST to March 15, 11 a.m. EST on Medicom Toy’s website. Winners will be able to purchase the piece on March 20 at 2G Studio in Shibuya PARCO for $1,055 USD.
