Air Jordan 1 Low "Active Fuchsia" Equips Neon-Toned Accents
Hot pink suede adds substantial flair to the classic silhouette.
Jordan Brand has presented the Air Jordan 1 Low in a summer-read “Active Fuchsia” makeup. An apt follow-up to the “Laser Blue” colorway that arrived last week, these low-cut Air Jordan 1s add bold new embellishments to a familiar colorblocking scheme.
Forefoot and midfoot are all classic Air Jordan style, with a crisp white leather base and stark black leather overlays. However, things get ramped up considerably on the heel. Standard leather has been replaced by supple perforated suede, presented here in a neon-toned pink color and equipped with a ball-and-wings graphic. This hue is replicated on the collar and also makes its way to the throat, where it appears on the embroidered tongue badge, #23-embellished lace keeper and the laces themselves. White midsoles and pink outsoles finalize the style, with an extra pair of black laces included if the wearer would prefer to tone down the vibrance a touch.
Although the Air Jordan 1 Low “Active Fuchsia” may look like a women’s makeup, it’s in fact a men’s style — a quirk acknowledged by the style code it shares with the aforementioned “Laser Blue.” It’s priced at ¥12,000 JPY (approximately $111 USD) and available now at retailers like atmos.
