Wiz Khalifa Raps Over a Classic DJ Premier Backdrop on "Smokin' Section"

Wiz Khalifa has dropped an accompanying music video for “Smokin’ Section,” a track off his latest mixtape It’s Only Weed Bro. As the seven-track project hears the famed stoner-rap icon flowing over classic hip-hop beats from some of the greatest producers, it’s only fitting that its visuals feature him in his natural habitat.
Rapping over DJ Premier‘s track for Common‘s “The 6th Sense,” Khalifa looks back at his successful career and thanks himself for being smart about the career decisions he’s made so far. The visual for “Smokin’ Section,” directed by LewisYouNasty, sees a dressed down Wiz simply working and performing in a studio, reminding audiences that he earned his place in the game with his talent and not because of any unnecessary extravagance.

Elsewhere in music, DaBaby and Lil Baby teamed up with Future and Drake for a “Life Is Good” remix.
