SKOLOCT Enlivens Vivid Artwork Over Hoodies and Necklace
The Japanese artist is back with new graphics.
Last year, Japanese artist SKOLOCT teamed up with KaneZ for a concise graphic-heavy capsule. Now, the SKOLOCT has returned with a spread of hoodies, alongside a silver necklace, emblazoned with the artist’s signature motif.
First up is the “Banksoo” Hoodie, referencing Banksy‘s infamous Balloon Girl mural from 2002. Instead of the girl from the original artwork, a monochromatic illustration of SKOLOCT’s cartoon appears to be lifted up by a red heart-shaped balloon. The print is placed at the center of the hoodie, shifted slightly around the upper right side of the chest. Next up is a set of black and white hoodies embellished with the words “Art Gang Money” in colorful prints that resemble spray paint. The words are placed at the upper chest, placed directly above a palm tree at the kangaroo pocket, while a rough tag of the character is placed at the back.
Lastly, the other two hoodies come in red and black colorways, etched with a cryptic word at the front of the piece in Old English, followed by “Art Gang Money” and the recurring cartoon at the back. As a final note, a silver necklace has been added to the assemblage. It comes with a thin Figaro chain with a pendant that resembles the shape of the PLAYBOY bunny logo, tweaked with SKOLOCT’s signature character.
