Mars89 & UNDERCOVER Reveal "The Droogs Against War" Capsule
Teaming up with the DJ/composer.
Building on their collaborative relationship, Jun Takahashi has come together with DJ/composer Mars 89 on an UNDERCOVER capsule collection. Known for contributing to the sound design of UNDERCOVER’s runway shows and releasing THE DROOGS 12-inch vinyl via UNDERCOVER RECORDS last year, Mars89 has now lent his aesthetic outlook for a special range.
Dubbed “The Droogs Against War,” the special range is comprised of 11 items that express a mix of apparel and accessories. Leading the range is a reconstructed design military mod coat used to display the anti-war sentiment of the capsule. Other items include blousons, shirts graphic print T-shirts and pants. Accessories come in the form of a shoulder bag that connects to three pouches, a 7-inch record bag crafted in collaboration with UDG and a USB that glows red.
