New ‘Hunters’ Red Band Trailer Is Rife With Nazi Slaying and Blunt Cursing
A Jordan Peele-produced series.
Last month, Amazon Prime Video put out a trailer for its upcoming Jordan Peele-produced series Hunters, but it only showed a small glimpse of its R-rated production. To give eager audiences a better picture of the show’s true nature, Amazon has unveiled a bloodier, more intensified red band trailer, rife with blunt cursing and gory Nazi slaying.
Based on true events, the show follows a group of Nazi hunters that discover a number of high-ranking Nazi officials hiding out in 1970s New York City, conspiring to assemble a Fourth Reich in the U.S. Upon this discovery, the vigilantes take it upon themselves to bring justice to the Nazis and roll out an elaborate plan to wipe them all off the face of the earth. Starring Al Pacino as Meyer Offerman, the leader of the Nazi-hunting pack, the show is a purgative, foul-mouthed, hyperviolent, blood-laden picnic that appears to be so over-the-top that it might seem comical at times — those looking for some intense action could be in for a treat.
Hunters is slated to be available for streaming on February 21 on Amazon Prime Video.
