Belgian designer Raf Simons has announced plans for his new retail platform, titled “History of my World.” As the name suggests, the site will give a look into Simons’ “point of view, aesthetic and philosophy,” through a curated selection of items covering homeware, literature and clothing. The platform itself is distinct from the Raf Simons brand.

“History of my World” — a title which Simons first used for his 10th anniversary collection in 2005 — launches with 45 unique blankets. Each of the blankets has been designed and produced by the Raf Simons Studio and is completely one-off. Additionally, the retail platform features candles and a series of books by Raf Simons, including 1999’s Raf Simons Isolated Heroes, Woe Onto Those Who Spit on the Fear Generation The Wind Will Blow it Back… from 2002 and Raf Simons Redux, released in 2005. Each of the books on sale can be signed and dedicated by Simons.

Take a look at some of the blankets in the gallery above. Raf Simons will also release clothing via the “History of my World” web store, including unique pieces, limited-edition items and special collaborations.

In other fashion news, Matthew M. Williams presented his Fall 2021 collection for Givenchy.
