Audi's R8 Gets an Exclusive Panther Edition for the American Market
Only 100 have been made.
Building on the RS 5 Panther edition a year ago, Audi is now preparing to release another limited edition, this time tapping its 2021 R8 model for yet another US-exclusive Panther edition.
Much like its predecessor, the upcoming limited edition is also dressed entirely in an exclusive Panther Black paint with a crystal effect, complemented by the usual carbon exterior components of the R8. Its 20-inch wheels come milled-cut and finished in matte black with a trim, while the exhaust system has been upgraded to automaker’s Sports variant. The black and red color scheme extends into the interior with crimson Nappa racing shell seats surrounded by black Alcantara paneling.
As for its performance, the R8 Panther edition is a rear-wheel drive carrying a 5.2-liter V10 engine, capable of pushing out 532 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. That translates to a 0-60 mph time of just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 201 mph.
