London-based archival designer store Aro Archive has launched a website, meaning you can now shop its rare collectible garments from anywhere around the world.

Celebrated for its extensive 8,000-plus piece archive and curated in-store selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories, Aro Archive launches the website following a cyber sale back in April. In honor of the website’s launch, Aro’s team has selected an online-only range of clothes that are now up for grabs. Each drop will come with a unique identity specific to that selection, and for this release, Aro Archive opted for a sense of anonymity.

As fans of the avant-garde, the store’s team created an eerie campaign video to go alongside the website’s unveiling. In this, models are seen wearing metallic silver morph suits that hide the person’s identity. The thinking behind this, as Aro Archive’s Head of Special Projects Joseph Delaney said, is “that anyone who wants to should be able to imagine themselves wearing these pieces, as well as to let the pieces really be the focus.”

Some of the standouts from the film and the drop include a Gauntlett Cheng parachute shirt from SS17, a pair of Dries Van Noten utility trousers from 2020, the Issey Miyake “Oil Slick” parachute jacket from FW87, a Maison Margiela x H&M duffle coat, a FW99 UNDERCOVER “Small Parts” jacket, and finally, a Stone Island Liquid Reflective gilet from 2010.

These, alongside many more pieces, are available on the new Aro Archive website now. Take a closer look at a selection of garments, as well as the campaign launch video, above.
