Reebok DMX Trail Hydrex Receives In-Line "Primal Green" Makeup
Following its debut in October via a XIMONLEE collaboration.
After first being revealed via a futuristic XIMONLEE collaboration in October, Reebok‘s DMX Trail Hydrex has made its in-line debut with a “Primal Green” colorway. Equal parts scuba boot and hiking shoe, the DMX Trail Hydrex offers a high-concept look that’s loaded with practical technology.
Uppers are made of forest green neoprene, reaching high above the wearer’s ankle for a sock-like look. Rubberized gray overlays reach up from the midsole on the lateral side, providing an abstract take on Reebok’s Vector logo and sitting in front of a DMX Trail Hydrex spellout graphic. The entire assemblage is then bolstered with a gray leather mudguard, toe cap and heel reinforcement.
Thick midsoles borrow their shape from the DMX Trail Shadow, and serve up a duo of gray tones: darker towards the forefoot, lighter in the heel. DMX Shear technology — a wavy TPU plate — provides versatile support and structure, while a lugged outsole with dashes of yellow finalizes the look.
The Reebok DMX Trail Hydrex in “Primal Green” is available now via retailers like Sivasdescalzo, with an MSRP of €200 EUR (approximately $234 USD).
Elsewhere in the world of conceptual sneaker design, Salehe Bembury has taken to Instagram to tease multiple colorways of his impending collaboration with ANTA.
