Atlanta rappers 2 Chainz and Mulatto team up for “Quarantine Thick,” the latest lockdown-related track to grace the charts. A music video for the song also dropped today, featuring all manner of stay-at-home antics.
The song may be a single from the rapper’s upcoming album, So Help Me God and features several shoutouts to our quote-unquote new normal, including closed gyms, wearing masks in the club and of course the titular quarantine thickness. 2 Chainz has kept busy these days, most recently with a feature on Kanye West’s “Nah Nah Nah” remix alongside DaBaby. The rapper had also recently teased a potential album collaboration with West just a few days before. For her part, Mulatto joined with City Girls and Doja Cat for a remix Chloe x Halle’s track “Do It.”
In other exciting team-ups, Justin Bieber and J Balvin recently got together for a new take on 24kGoldn’s “Mood” featuring Iann Dior.
