Lumio's Teno Packs a Lamp and a Speaker Within Its Stone-Like Shell

Lumio’s Teno lamp was created to evoke calm and tranquility. The thoughtfully designed lamp is meant to be a welcome but unintrusive addition to the home, with a nature-inspired design and intuitive user experience.

The Teno is five inches in diameter and weighs approximately two pounds which gives the Teno its solid yet organic feel — aided by a rough, stone-like exterior which is crafted from a combination of sand and resin. The warm white glow of the lamp is activated by breaking open the shell and adjusts to four levels of brightness with a tap of your finger.

Teno’s speaker is packed with state-of-the-art tech, including a 5.0 Bluetooth chip and a 10W class-D amplifier which minimizes distortion while delivering a powerful punch. The combination of advanced DSP technology, a high quality neodymium full-range driver and custom passive radiator allows the speaker to deliver a full-range of crystal-clear sound — from highs to deep bass.But even with all the technology packed inside, the user experience is quite simple. Crack the shell fully open to activate the speaker and connect your phone. Then, simply slide your finger up and down the curve of the bowl to adjust the sound volume, and tap to answer calls.

A discreet magnetic charger allows the Teno speaker to run up to eight hours at 50 percent volume and the light for up to four hours at 100% brightness on a full charge.
