3M Equips Nike Air Force 1 '07 LV8 "Black/Metallic Silver" With Shiny Scotchlite™ Trims
Honeycomb patterns adorn the heel and vamp too, while a “Summit White” pair receives a similar makeover.

3M and Nike continue their collaborative efforts with their latest release that sees a duo of Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 sneakers get the shiny light-reflective treatment. Dropping in “Black/Metallic Silver” and “Summit White/Black,” these AF1s follow on from other recent pairs such as the hazardous AF1 React LX and the 3M-branded Swoosh offering.
The “Black/Metallic Silver” AF1 ‘07 LV8 is made from supple premium leather and includes Scotchlite™ and Thinsulate™ technology meaning the pair will be shiny under light, and warm inside too. Tumbled leather appears on the toe, vamp, eyestay, and mid-panel, while in contrast, smooth leather appears around the collar and on the heel. This is sectioned off by a “Metallic Silver” Swoosh, and a large 3M grid panel on the heel and vamp.
More 3M can be found on the tongue in the form of a dual-branded tongue tab, which leads your eyes down to the 3M-speckled laces. At the rear, 3M Scotchlite™ reflective tape has been used to detail the heel tab, where you’ll also find tonal Nike Air branding.
Similarly, the AF1 ‘07 LV8 in “Summit White/Black” utilizes the same make-up, but its choice of colorway allows for the honeycomb 3M grid pattern on the heel and vamp to blend in slightly more during the day than its black counterpart. The “Summit White” colorway also features a “Metallic Silver” Swoosh but is contrasted by a black heel tab, while both colorways are finished with a black nylon tongue.
Both 3M x Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 LV8 sneakers can be seen above and purchased on the Nike website now for £89.90 GBP each (approx. $117 USD).
In other news, Nike has given the AF1 a pixel-like makeover.
