HUMAN MADE and adidas Originals Look to the Future
Reworking the Nizza Hi and Marathon silhouettes.
HUMAN MADE and adidas Originals have reunited for their second collaborative Fall/Winter 2020 drop, following up the Tokio Solar and HM UNOFCL capsule with a new two-silhouette pack. The latest drop features two colorways of both the Marathon HM and Nizza Hi sneakers.
The theme throughout the collection is “future is in the past,” referenced through a specially-designed heart heart logo that appears on various items.
For the archive-inspired Marathon HM, Nigo has looked to vintage Marathon sneakers to create uppers in muted “Chalk White/Core Black/Khaki” or “Clear Onix/St Stonewash Blue/Collegiate Burgundy” colorways. The capsule’s Nizza Hi sneakers are constructed from a canvas upper and rubber outsole, with HUMAN MADE’s heart logo appearing on the outsole and uppers dressed in either “Off White” or “Gray Five.”
Alongside the footwear, HUMAN MADE and adidas Originals have also come together to release an apparel capsule. Stand-out pieces are a matching jacket and vest which can be inflated through a hidden tube, and a five-piece denim set with vintage-inspired designs.
The full collection is priced from $70 USD to £350 USD and will be release via the adidas web store and select stockists on November 25th.
