First Look at the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle In Purple and Orange
The bold colorway also features an alternate nylon upper.
sacai and Nike‘s highly-anticipated Vaporwaffle is adding a purple and orange colorway to its ranks. Although this new makeup is largely in line with its four compatriots thanks to its doubled-up detailing and thick midsole, it also features one noticeable material difference: its uppers are made from nylon instead of mesh.

These potent purple nylon uppers are overlaid with rich purple suede and leather pieces on the heel, eyestays and toebox. Orange leather graces the co-branded heel tab and also appears on the top midfoot Swoosh, while the bottom midfoot Swoosh is printed in navy to match the detailing directly below the eyestays.
Two sets of laces are presents as well, one in standard white cotton and the other in a navy blue ribbon material. The stacked tongues serve up both Nike/sacai hits and classic Nike Sportswear motifs, with orange insoles supplying the final piece of branded detail. Double-stacked midsoles feature both sail and white tones, driving the shoe’s layered look home with extended heel pieces and lip-like curved detailing. Black waffle outsoles complete the look by providing a final homage to retro Nike Running product.
An official release date for this new sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle colorway has yet to be revealed, but it’ll likely arrive either later this fall or in early 2021.
