Tokyo-based TAION is on a mission to create the best down jackets. Specialising in down-filled mid-layers that are both lightweight and utilitarian, each garment has been expertly crafted to ensure both warmth, style and comfort.

TAION — which aptly translates to ‘body temperature’ in Japanese — comprises 90% mature waterfowl feather down in each piece, alongside 10% 650 fill feather. On the outside is a fully water-repellent film, thanks to its high-density nylon outer and an all-over protective finish.

Arriving in the form of a Crew Neck Pocket Down Pullover, V-Neck Button Down Vest and a V-Neck Button Down Jacket, each piece arrives in an array of colorways, from navy and beige to off-white and green.

Available now from Oi Polloi, TAION’s latest collection of down garments retail from just £61.00 (approximately $80 USD).

In other news, Carhartt WIP and 2G have reunited for a Sorayama-indebted capsule.
