Filson and Ford Look to Tackle Forest Fires With New Wildland Fire Rig Bronco
Equipped with a 50-gallon water tank.
Filson has just joined with Ford for a special Wildland Fire Rig Bronco concept. The off-roader comes in a U.S. Forest Service green paint job and sees a four-door Bronco with a Badlands/Sasquatch package that’s been modified to fight forest fires.
The build sees a full 50-gallon water reserve with a high-pressure pump, an LED light bar, a Warn winch, a skid, lookout roof rack, a fireproof cargo divider, and key components that have been treated to a full Cerakote ceramic coating. The concept Bronco also sees a small co-branded capsule made up of a T-shirt, duffle bag, and Nalgene bottle.
As part of the initiative, Ford will be donating two Wildland Fire Rig Broncos, and proceeds from the capsule collection will go towards the National Forest Foundation. Head over to Filson’s web store to shop the capsule collection where it retails from $15 – $350 USD.
