Air Jordan 4 "Fire Red" Recieves Nike SNKRS Shock Drop

Jordan Brand‘s highly-anticipated Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” is slated for an official release at the tail end of November, but Air Jordan lovers were given a jolt when it shock dropped on Nike SNKRS earlier today. The first “Fire Red” release since the shoe’s 1989 debut to feature Nike Air branding on its heels, this retro is the most true-to-the-original pair yet — as shown by its set of official images.
Uppers are built from white leather, with signature “Fire Red” detailing arriving on the top and bottom eyestays, tongue badge, collar trim and aforementioned heel branding. This is contrasted with black under the quarter and tongue’s netting as well as on the “wings” and under the heel’s graphic hit. Midsoles combine black, white and red, with gray Air Max units and tri-colored, Nike-branded outsoles finalizing the look.
This 2020 drop marks the first “Fire Red” retro since 2012’s Jumpman-equipped iteration and 2006’s special “Mars” makeup. Although the shock drop quickly sold out, those who weren’t able to secure a pair will have another shot on November 28 via Nike SNKRS and retailers like Foot Locker. The MSRP is set at $200 USD.
