AUXILIARY Launches "Antiskate" Sneakers for Volume 3
Making up the “Silence Is a Luxury” collection.
London-based footwear label AUXILIARY has returned with its third collection, titled “Silence Is a Luxury.” The new capsule features six sneaker styles and four formal shoes, with the stand-out styles being the new “Antiskate” sneakers introduced by the brand.
The two sneakers in question are heavily inspired by ’90s skate shoes, with these styles then transformed into something new. Materials including tumbled and Polido leather and “pony-skin” options give the sneakers an elevated aesthetic that sets them apart from general skating footwear.
Elsewhere, AUXILIARY also introduces a slip-on suede sneaker, a lace-up sneaker dressed in formal black leathers and three more lace-up styles constructed from a fabric woven from recycled plastic bottles. The collection sees new formal styles, which have been finished “AUX” stitching and luxurious detailing.
