Burger King Offering Free Whoppers to Bronx Residents for Enduring 'Joker' Stairs Visitors
Via Uber Eats.
Continuing its string of viral marketing campaigns, Burger King is now offering free Whoppers to Bronx residents that have enduring Joker stairs visitors. Following the theatrical release of Todd Phillips film, fans have flooded the Bronx between Shakespeare and Anderson avenues at West 167th Street to reenact iconic Joaquin Phoenix‘s Joker dance.
In a pretty obvious ploy to poke fun at McDonald’s Ronald McDonald mascot, promos for the timely campaign makes constant note of how “clowns can be annoying.” After The King does his best rendition of the dance, the clip ends with the phrase, “And put on a happy face.” Bronx residents who order Burger King through Uber Eats can now receive a free Whopper by entering the code “KINGSTAIRS.”
