Monkey Time, the contemporary sub-label for UNITED ARROWS‘ imprint BEAUTY & YOUTH, has been enlisted by The North Face Purple Label for the brand’s first collaboration since 2015.

The Japanese stalwarts come together to present a three-piece capsule that celebrates the label’s signature color — purple. The Fall/Winter 2019 collection is presented in both black and purple and kicks off with the 65/35 Short Mountain Parka, which plays on the design of the military-indebted N-2B coat. It is made from an exclusive 65/35 bay headcloth and features contrasting detailing throughout, seen via the embroidered TNF logo and hem panel.

Elsewhere, Monkey Time has produced a pair of highly-versatile, hardwearing 65/35 climbing pants, which incorporated a strap-belt into its waistband, as well as a selection of long-sleeve T-shirts with a small embroidered pocket motif. Standing out from the collection is a cream long-sleeve T-shirt, offering contrast while maintaining a nod to the capsule with its purple branding.

The Monkey Time x The North Face Purple Label FW19 capsule collection releases on September 14 via Monkey Time’s official website, as well as a number of BEAUTY&YOUTH and UNITED ARROWS stores in Japan.

In other news, The North Face Purple Label has just released a duo of fleece-clad Denali jackets.
