ASICS continues to build upon its lifestyle vision with the reintroduction of the new and improved GEL-KINSEI™ OG shoe in two new colorways. The shoe’s design is lauded for its insertion of traditional Japanese heritage as well as its advanced mechanics, which make it one of the most technical running shoes on the market, combining ASICS trademark IGS® Impact Guidance System and GEL® technology.

Designer Hisanori Fujita was heavily influenced by Samurai warriors and their armor, which informs the sharp heel on the GEL-KINSEI™ OG silhouette. With an emphasis on the early millennium sensibility, the shoe’s detailing includes three sections of GEL® technology near the rear of the foot for all encompassing cushion. The TRUSSTIC SYSTEM® technology, which reinforces stability, is placed under the arch to provide a light feel for premier athletic explosion. And finally, the BIOMORPHIC FIT™ upper helps fit comfort and flexibility all into one, drawing from the original GEL-KAYANO® upper.

The GEL-KINSEI™ OG is available now in “White/Metropolis” and “Graphite Grey/Piedmont Grey” for $180 USD at ASICS’ website.
