Raf Simons Adds Roses, Cherries & Cursive Slogans to iPhone X Cases
Using irony and motifs from the FW19 collection.
Raf Simons has released a set of graphic-heavy iPhone X cases that address nomophobia — the irrational fear of being without your mobile phone or being unable to use it — and draw inspiration from the design tropes in his current seasonal collection.
The Belgian designer has chosen the word “Nomophobia” to grace a number of his phone cases in a cursive font. Other words and phrases used in this collection include “Illusion,” “Ripe Metal” and “Heroes,” which appear alongside cherries, roses and “R” logos taken from the Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
iPhone X cases are available in black, navy, white and red with contrasting graphics appearing in red, white, yellow and black. The phone cases are made from rigid silicone and are finished with a clean white interior.
