Nike Revamps Its Air Max2 Light in "Geode Teal/Gym Red" and "Desert Sand/Sail Pumice"
Refining the silhouette from ‘94.
With its “Grey/Chlorophyll” model released just over a month ago, Nike continues to stylize its Air Max2 Light silhouette with two new colorways: “Geode Teal/Gym Red” and “Desert Sand/Sail Pumice.” The silhouette first released in 1994, imbued with Nike’s cutting edge Air Unit system that optimized stability.
Coming in a mix of mesh and suede uppers, premium textiles shine over an array of details. Starting at the topmost section of the sneaker, the tongue is stamped with “Air Max2” branding, followed by flat laces and a clean leather lace cage. The back is decorated with a translucent patch logo that sports an accented Swoosh. Breathable mesh fabrics and suede overlays take over the sidewalls, complemented by a distinctive Swoosh. Both colorways come with a creamy ecru midsole that hosts tinted Air Units, offering a touch of modern refinement to the retro footwear piece.
The Air Max2 Light “Geode Teal/Gym Red” and “Desert Sand/Sail Pumice” are currently available at atmos-tokyo.com for $128 USD.
Elsewhere, Nike has dropped a pair of Air Force 1 ‘07 Premiums doused with a splash of tie-dye.
