Netflix Renews 'The Naked Director' For Second Season

Captivating a global audience with its first season, The Naked Director has been renewed by Netflix for a second season.

Announced by Netflix Japan, the series will continue its exploration of the Japanese adult film industry. Set during the ’80s economic boom, the Netflix Originals title chronicles the rise of legendary adult filmmaker Toru Muranishi. Drawing from Muranishi’s true stories, Season 2 will look to further explain just how the filmmaker revolutionized the industry and helped establish its current state.
