Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny To Star in Netflix's 'BEEF' Season 2
The new season will be triggered by a young couple who witnesses “an alarming fight between their boss and his wife.”
Netflix has officially announced the new set of couples that will lead the upcoming second season of BEEF.
The new season will reunite Inside Llewyn Davis stars Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan, and will pair them up with Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny in the lead roles. BEEF season two will follow the story of a young couple who witnesses “an alarming fight between their boss and his wife,” which then “[triggers] chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.”
Season two is confirmed to feature a total of eight, 30-minute episodes. A24 and creator and showrunner Lee Sung Jin are set to return, while Jake Schreier and season one stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong will executive produce.
Season one went on to win eight Emmys, four Critics Choice Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two Gotham Awards, two Film Independent Spirit Awards, two SAG Awards and PGA, WGA and AFI Honors.
