Burna Boy Brings the Feel-Good Vibes in Visual for "Pull Up"
The fifth single off ‘African Giant.’
Returning from the release of his long-anticipated album African Giant, Nigerian Afrobeat frontrunner Burna Boy has shared a cinematic new visual for the album’s fifth single, “Pull Up.” The new visual, directed by Meji Alabi and produced by Jimi Adesanya, helps in visualizing the feel-good vibes that the track employs. Shot and edited in an analog-style, the visual sees Burna effectively “pulling up” on his female counterparts, showcasing him posted up outside a local pizza spot as well as driving around with his friends in a BMW convertible.
Burna Boy’s African Giant has been met with immense acclaim, further proving the expansion of Nigeria’s genre into the Western hemisphere through what the artist refers to as “Afrofusion.” He was recently named as one of Apple Music’s “Up Next” artists, further performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
