Bandai Namco's 'Digimon ReArise' Is Coming to iOS and Android
The mobile title is no longer region-locked in Japan.
Bandai Namco released a trailer announcing Digimon ReArises will be making its way to iOS and Android outside of Japan, alongside a pre-registration link to play early.
Similar to the upcoming Pokémon Masters, the mobile game will feature battles against creatures in matches that can scale as high as 5v5. These matches occur in real-time and utilize a cool-down mechanic after attacks. Digimon have stats that can be raised in and outside of matches, examples include befriending other Digimon, having fun, eating, or training at the gym. Once stats are high enough, your Digimon can Digivolve and develop even stronger abilities.
“An unknown Digimon calling itself Herissmon has appeared in your smartphone,” says the games official page on the Apple Store. As you and your Digimon begin to bond through your phone, “a mysterious force known as “Spirals” attack.”
