Sony Announces "Challenger Series" Tournament for all PlayStation 4 Owners
Offering cash prizes to online winners every season.
Sony is aiding in the current eSports phenomenon, announcing seasonal online tournaments for all PlayStation 4 owners, offering cash prizes to the winners.
The “PS4 Tournaments: Challenger Series” will begin August 6 with Mortal Kombat 11. Each tournament is slated to run for a few weeks and split into several stages. First round players must win three out of four matches to advance to the next stage. In the second stage, players will compete against more skilled opponents and need to win to move on to Stage 3. In the final stage, you will join the best to contend for the championship title.
The following tournament will be for FIFA 20, followed by Battlefield V and Warface, with more announcements soon to come.
