New Balance Jazzes up M998 with Faux Croc Pattern
Dressed in purple, no less.
New Balance‘s timeless 998 runner receives a colorful upgrade by way of an unexpected pattern. The American-made sneaker’s toe and heel is revamped with an embossed croc print, executed in unmissable shades of purple.
Though the standout detailing is clearly the focal point of the chunky runner, its other features aren’t too shabby. A blend of premium leather and suede appear in neutral shades throughout the rest of the shoe, with 3M accents adding extra visual impact to the “N” logo and heel panel. Embroidered branding appears on the tongue to drive the top-shelf motif home, with a white midsole and black outsole to anchor the adventurous detailing above.
